The Black Museum Presents: Fright Night

The Black Museum is back at the Royal for a mid-summer screening of Tom Holland’s FRIGHT NIGHT (1985). A creative update of vampire films that pays homage to the traditions of classic horror, FRIGHT NIGHT follows teenage film fan Charley Brewster (William Ragsdale) who is convinced his next door neighbor is a vampire, even though nobody believes him. With the help of a washed-up TV horror host (Roddy McDowall) Charley must become a reluctant Van Helsing in this horror favourite that presents the lurking terrors of suburban life that 1980s delivered so well. You don’t want to miss this, Brewster!

Curators Paul Corupe and Andrea Subissati will introduce the film.
